ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The Black Infant Health Program (BIHP) invites healthcare leaders, providers, advocates, policymakers, community organizations, birth workers, and families to participate in a powerful day of dialogue, healing, accountability, and action focused on advancing Black maternal health outcomes.

Despite significant investments and ongoing efforts, Black mothers and babies continue to experience unacceptable disparities in maternal and infant health outcomes, including disproportionately high rates of preterm birth and maternal morbidity.

This conference will bring together nationally recognized experts, community voices, and healthcare professionals to address the urgent need for transformative maternal health change in San Francisco and beyond.

Together, we will move the conversation from awareness to measurable action.
